Wokingham Way – public transport links June 2025
The listings below indicate bus and rail services which reach the start and end points of each stage of the Wokingham Way, with the name of the operators of bus services. Please check with the operator (or, in the case of trains, National Rail) for details of the origins and destinations of services, their routes, times and frequencies.
Only for Stage 7 (Memorial Hall, Riseley to White House Farm (Spencers Wood)) is it possible to travel directly back to the start of the stage from the end point.
Stage 5 (Coppid Beech to Ambarrow Court) can be done from Wokingham town centre (bus to Coppid Beech and train back from Crowthorne).
For all other stages, the best approach is to start from central Reading, take the bus or train to the walk start, then return to Reading by bus or train at the end of the walk.
STAGE 1 Shiplake to Mill End (5.25miles)
