The Wokingham Way
Welcome to the Wokingham Way home page! Here you will find details of a walking route that will enable you, your friends and family to walk the entire circumference of Wokingham Borough, a total of 55 miles, broken into easy stages of between 4 and 7 miles.
The walk is immensely varied, from the majesty of the broad Thames, where the path follows the river's course north of Henley, to ancient lanes and byways and open fields.
All the information you need it to walk the route is accessible below, so you can print out each section and map as you require them, or even download the directions & map to your smartphone or tablet to follow as you walk the route.
We hope you enjoy walking the sections of the Wokingham Way around our ancient borough as much as we have enjoyed researching them.

Please note that the designated parking spot at the end of Stage 6 - Bramshill Plantation, in Well House Lane (SU752631), is no longer available as this area has had wooden posts installed along its edge. There is no suitable alternative nearby. Accordingly walkers are advised to adjust the stages in this area and consider parking in either Eversley or Riseley.
